Donna Smith, a graduate of George Washington Law School, has been the Chief of Policy and Community Programs at the Maryland Department of Aging. She has worked on the White House Conference on Aging, and today serves as the advocacy director of Compassion & Choices and the Compassion & Choices Action Network. As we speak, she is leading the effort to pass the Death with Dignity legislation for the State of Maryland, after having succeeded in this effort in D.C..
