Starting June 11 thru July 2, we are replacing the regularly scheduled Tai Chi classes with this class.   Tai Chi will resume on July 9.  Please register for each class that you would like to attend.

To enhance bone strength, improve posture, and alleviate discomfort, we employ weight-bearing techniques that minimize strain on joints while promoting the safe regeneration of bone tissue and overall vitality.

Rooted in the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic re-education, our approach involves gentle yet potent movement sequences. Through heightened awareness, individuals learn to replace inefficient movement patterns with more effective ones. By harnessing the brain's neuroplasticity, we facilitate smoother, more coordinated movement patterns that engage both body and mind. This process reduces unnecessary strain and tension, enhancing both performance and well-being. Experience improved movement and greater comfort – a pathway to feeling your best.

Instructor:  Petra Riedel-Willems is a Feldenkrais Practitioner® and Bones for Life Instructor® based in Falls Church, VA.  You can reach her at
