Imagine if you were to suddenly lose your capacity to perform the most routine task – like making a cup of tea? Who would you turn to? What if this incapacity were to last for years. What would that look like?
Barbara Brubeck, Senior Sales Consultant for Goodwin Living at Home, will discuss the cost of personal care and issues around access to personal caregivers and how the Continuing Care At Home model works to address those primary issues.
Goodwin Living At Home is the only continuing care at home program in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. that empowers active, healthy adults ages 55 and over who want security along with the choice to stay in their homes as they age. Goodwin offers customized plans make it easier to live without the worry of covering care costs or coordinating care should you need it
Biography
As a Senior Sales Consultant for Goodwin Living At Home, my favorite work in this role is to sit in a DC rowhouse and help to discern the priorities and resources that will build a longevity plan. I bring to the table, decades of experience as an operations director in a Friends retirement community, a Commissioner with the Montgomery County Commission on Aging, and as an affordable housing manager with the Montgomery County Housing Opportunities Commission. My superpower is sliding my EV sideways into the tiniest parking space on the street.
