As we live longer, the need for long-term care becomes more of a concern to us and to the industry. Long-term care providers (including the insurance industry) have had to adjust. Many insurers have dropped coverage or raised premiums sharply.
This program will look at the many aspects of long-term care, including: How is it defined? What care options are available and how much do they cost? How does long-term care insurance work and does it make sense to buy it? What are other options for paying for long-term care needs, such as reverse mortgages and Medicaid?
At Dupont Circle Village’s February Live & Learn seminar Rick Gow, who is a Certified Senior Advisor and Wealth Management Advisor with Lara, May & Associates, will answer these questions and more.
Please let us know if your plans change.
