DCV member and principal author of Guidebook, Selected French Gothic Cathedrals, Richard Moore will present a lecture on selected French Gothic Cathedrals. The lecture will first provide a brief overview of: The Goals of Gothic design; What IS Gothic?; The Medieval Setting; How Gothic Spread, evolved?; Cathedral Cross-Section & terms.     
                                                                  
The lecture will then present brief case studies of Notre Dame Paris, Chartres, and Reims Cathedrals. The presentation takes about 60 minutes, followed by time for Q&A.
