Eva M. Lucero has served as Executive Director of Dupont Circle Village (DCV) since 2015. In this role, she provides strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the organization fulfills its mission of helping older adults remain engaged, independent, and supported as they age in place. She oversees day-to-day management, program development, member services, fundraising, advocacy, community partnerships, and organizational outreach.

Eva brings more than three decades of nonprofit leadership experience to DCV. Prior to her current role, she served as Executive Director of Arts for the Aging (AFTA) for ten years and held key positions with Ayuda, HumanitiesDC, and the former Corcoran Gallery of Art. Her career reflects a strong commitment to advancing equity, cultural enrichment, and community-based support systems.

A longtime Washingtonian, Eva has lived in the District for more than 30 years, with additional roots in Santa Fe, San Antonio, and New York City. Her leadership at DCV continues to strengthen the Village’s role as a model of collaboration, innovation, and compassionate service for older adults in our community.
