The French Challenge is for DCV men and women, as well as their friends, who are native French speakers or enjoy an opportunity to use the French they have learned. The challenge is to have some fun using French. The Group meets once a month to discuss issues in French as well as to enjoy French food and drinks, as well as periodic outings together to the theater and restaurants. Each gathering, one member gives a short presentation on a topic that the group selected the previous month, and then general discussions follow on the presentation and such topics as events and travel adventures, things happening in our lives, and French music/songs/poems/plays.
Meetings are held the 4thTuesday of each month from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Carol Galaty and Ken Shuck's house unless otherwise notified.

(2) Review of the Edith Piaf Retrospective from April 17.

If you are interested in joining the group, or maybe just trying it out to learn more about it, please contact Carol Galaty. She sends monthly announcement to all French Challenge members with "LE ORDRE DU JOUR" and requests that, if you plan to attend a meeting, you RSVP to her at the latest 4 days before the meeting at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 202-232-7259.
